Sweet Bella Mia was just returned to KKC, she was initially adopted from us in 2007.
Shes a nice, eleven year old Torti who was well loved in her previous home.
Shes easy-going and social, although she does she tend to prefer female companionship.
She can be somewhat chatty when she's in a talkative mood, and she likes being close to her person(s) as much as possible.
Shes lived with cat-friendly dogs and was tolerant.
She temporarily lived with another cat and was tolerant but had her boundaries. Like many cats, she may be initially shy with new people until she trusts them - she may just hang out in the background and observe until she feel safe.
She will do best with a limited feeding schedule or she may get chunky - shes 13 pounds of love now!.
She prefers dry food and she likes drinking from the bathroom faucet.
She also enjoys using a scratching post too!

We are hoping so much that Bella Mia finds her new home soon - shes so sweet and deserves not to be in transition long.
You can view Bella Mia at PetCo on Old Seward and Dimond.
Shes waiting to meet her new family there
There is an adoption fee of $120.00 for adult cats and $175.00 for kittens and home visits may be required. If you reside outside the local area there are some different requirements. Personal referrals, a vet referral, an agreement to be responsible for transportation (both ways if necessary) and a commitment to returning the pet to Kitty and K-9 if the placement does not work or your situation changes where you cannot keep the pet. Depending on the circumstances, there may be other requirements as well. Our commitment is to the homeless animals we rescue; we devote tons of love, time, energy and money to their rescue, medical bills and care. Our goal is to find them the very best placement with a lifetime commitment.
