Hi People,

　　My name is Adorable Avery (my foster Mom also calls me Amazing Avery) and you may have seen me on Facebook. Im kind of famous but Id never that let go to my head. No siree! Im just a very cute little seven-year-old bichon who weighs only 10 pounds and is a very mellow and easy-going guy. My BFK Aunties say that Im an adorable and precious portable-sized pup with a sweet disposition and one who is now getting to experience the world in new ways every day. (More on that in a moment!)

　　Did I mention that Im the kind of pup who likes to be wherever you are and if that includes lying on a lap and getting petted, thats even better! Want to go for a ride? Im the greatest passenger youll ever meet. Short rides or long rides

　　no issue. I love them all!

　　I also like to go on walks. Im an easy going guy who is a bit of a follower

　　but that doesnt mean I dont have a mind of my own! Im very curious, especially about new people and other dogs. Im happy to interact with new friends. And Im practicing getting along with big dogs. You see, I need to make them aware that Im around. After all, at only 10 pounds practically everyone I meet IS a lot bigger than I am! So I bark a bit to let them know Im nearby.

　　The world I experience is such an amazing place. You see,? I have just been given the greatest gift of all

　　the gift of sight.? (Some of you may have donated to give me this opportunity to see so I want to thank you one and all!?) It turns out that I was born with something called a juvenile cataract which meant that eventually I couldnt see out of my eye. That was a bit more complicated because my other eye was not formed correctly when I was born. So being able to see the world again is so amazing! Its a fun place!

　　And since I can now see, Ive discovered (drum roll please) TOYS! Why Mom has so many different ones to choose from I hardly know where to start! I dont have a favorite yet. Well, actually, ALL of them are my favorites for now! Whee! Playing with toys is super fun!

　　Im a major cuddler and snuggler. I also like to be carried places. I just kind of get this look in my eyes and an expression on my face and Mom figures it out really fast! (I really dont even have to try that hard.) She just tells me Im adorable and I smile and wait to be picked up.

　　Im a sound sleeper and such a good boy that I get to sleep on the Big Peoples bed

　　and I like that too! I sleep all through the night. Since my foster home has a doggy door Im learning how to use it (and not have any accidents in the house! Mom says thats a great thing!)

　　I love treats and Mom has been using them to teach me commands. Im learning to sit and stay when she tells me and look forward to learning more commands, because I want to be the best little guy that I can be. I get along well with other furkids and must have another small furkid in my forever home please.
