Amy's story

　　Meet Amy! Amy is a precious dog with a sad story. Amy was originally adopted from her last shelter in Oklahoma as a young puppy, and was a loyal part of her family for around four years. Amy was surrendered back to her shelter after her family decided to complete a DNA test on her, revealing that she is 25% Border Collie, 25% Boxer, and the rest was a mix of several other breed types, including Boston Terrier, Ibizan Hound, and American Staffordshire Terrier. The family felt that because Amy might have pittie in her, that she no longer belonged with them. Amy cried as her family left her behind, but now she is so happy to become a Colorado dog and find her family here! Amy has a history of being wonderful with young children and other dogs, too. We are not sure about cats! Amy has a huge heart and is a very good dog. She has been in a home most of her life and would be quite comfortable joining most any family! Amy is a doll!
