Amber's story

　　Amber, a gorgeous tortie girl, whose age we are guestimating at 4 years old, lost her home when her owner died and relatives were not eager to take in her animals. Many were placed locally where she lived, but EAPL took the ones who were left. After quite the journey here, they are settling in well at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center hosted by Chow Down. Amber is hesitant about new situations; while not reactive at all, she is more likely to hide a bit, but does like to be pet and definitely likes brushing. She will need some help with grooming, as a long haired cat who is shy, it's a good way to become friends. She gets along with other cats and dogs with the proper introduction. Not sure about small children. Her original owner was elderly.
