My story
Hi my name is Amber. I am amazing Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who weighs about 45lbs. I am so happy to finally be out of the shelter. I went to the shelter with my two buddies in January and was just 'released' the middle of August. Whatever my owners did, they were in big trouble for it but it still took that long for their case to get to court. We were all thrilled when Miss Peggy came to pick us up. I am having a blast now. After all that time cooped up, I can now run and play and be a young dog again, We have a huge fenced field where we go to burn off our energy. I am learning all about being in a home again and am doing well with my house manners. We do have a doggie door though which makes all that so much easier. When we come in to relax I am all about being with you and am happy to watch TV and take a little nap. Once refreshed I am ready to go again. I would be an amazing dog for an active family. I might need older children since I am so active and my genes do tell me to herd. I am great with other dogs but not good with kitties. (They run and I want to herd them. Not a good idea.) I am ready to go to my forever home. I hope that will be with you. Amber is spayed, current on all her shots and microchipped. To be considered for her forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at [email protected]. APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. (Amber is actually in Tennessee but can be transported north upon adoption.)September 14, 2022, 12:59 pm
