This 2012 Ferrari California is a gorgeous low-mileage,
well-maintained and beautifully appointed example of the popular 2
2 grand touring sports car. The California is considered a landmark
car for Ferrari in that it was the first front engine Ferrari with
a V-8 engine, first 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, first hard
top convertible with a folding metal roof, and first with
multi-link rear suspension. The stunning livery and interior color
combination along with the custom 22 alloy wheels really make this
California stand out on the road. This beautiful California is
ready to be enjoyed and toured. This Ferrari California was
originally received on 1/17/2012 by Ferrari Maserati of West Palm
Beach in Palm Beach, FL. where it was registered as a corporate
vehicle and was dealership maintained. The drive belts were
replaced in 2014 and the engine mounts were replaced in 2015. A
second dealership in Dallas, TX acquired the Ferrari on 10/27/2017
with a reported 10,161 miles and sold it to a private individual in
Florida on 11/05/2019 with a reported 14,759 miles. The Ferrari was
acquired by an individual in Laguna Beach, CA on 11/09/2012 with a
reported 22,789 miles. Our good friend and client, Fred Marcus of
El Paso, TX purchased the Ferrari on 08/05/2023 from the Rosso
Corsa Gallery in Costa Mesa, CA. Mr. Marcus is an avid collector of
discerning taste and enjoys driving and maintaining his collection.
The livery of this California is a gorgeous Grigio Titanio (Code
3238) with beautiful luster and shine overall. There are only a
couple of small imperfections that are only visible upon very close
inspection. The Ferrari Californias standard wheel option is 19
Alloys. This California has upgraded 22 silver alloy wheels which
are wrapped in very low profile Nexen high performance radial
tires. The spoked alloy wheels allow the beautiful, bright yellow
Ferrari brake calipers to really make a statement. The Ferrari
yellow and chrome exterior badges are all in beautiful condition
and show very well against the lustrous metallic gray paint. The
color matched folding metal roof convertible hard top is in
beautiful condition inside and out and functions as designed. The
Californias are stunning with the tops up or down, which is no
surprise. The exterior of the Ferrari is in amazing overall
condition apart from the Lexan headlight lens covers which are
beginning to show minor imperfections, but barely noticeable. This
Ferrari is certainly ready to be enjoyed around town or on extended
road trips and will certainly be a head turner wherever it goes.
The interior on this Ferrari is as beautiful as the exterior. The
gorgeous upholstery is Cuoio Naturale Leather (Code 4609), is soft
and supple and appears near new apart from very minor wear on the
lower portion of the drivers seat and on the drivers door pull. The
beautiful natural leather color is a stunning complement to the
Titanio exterior paint. The dash and gauges all appear as near new,
and function properly as does the climate control (air conditioning
and heat), and the navigation and sound system display screen. The
large tachometer is Ferrari yellow and is a nice accent to the
center of the well-designed black gauge cluster and beautiful black
leather dash. The gorgeous steering wheel is wrapped in black
leather and displays the yellow Ferrari Prancing Horse logo in the
center along with the red Engine Start button and the red
performance indicator switch for Comfort or Sport mode. The Cuoio
colored wool carpet shows very well and is mostly protected with
black Ferrari floor mats. The interior of this Ferrari shows very
well overall and is ready to be shown. The engine compartment is a
work of art with the Ferrari red engine components and has been
well detailed and appointed. The gorgeous naturally aspirated 4.3
Litre DOHC, 32 valve V-8 motor produces 435 hp and propels this
California from 0-60 in four seconds. The motor runs and performs
beautifully and the exhaust note sounds like nothing else on the
road. The power of the V-8 engine is transferred to the rear wheels
through the 7-speed automatic, dual-clutch transmission, with
auto-shift, which performs flawlessly and quietly. The
undercarriage is clean, rust free and in very nice condition
overall. There are the expected superficial undercarriage scrape
marks below the engine compartment due to the low stance of the
Ferrari. This California is in as nice overall mechanical condition
as it is beautiful. This Ferrari California drives and performs
incredibly well as one would expect from a well-maintained Ferrari
and is a true show piece to look at and drive. It would be a
welcomed addition to any Ferrari or exotic car collection and is
ready to tour and be shown. We have this 2012 Ferrari California
