This custom 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible is powered by a
professionally rebuilt 430ci V8 engine backed by an automatic
transmission. It is riding on adjustable air suspension and lays
flat on the ground courtesy of Choppin' Block custom-built upper
and lower tubular control arms, Slam Specialties airbags, shocks at
all four corners and custom rear suspension. Air is supplied by
dual Viair compressors. Stopping power comes from custom 4-wheel
Baer disc brakes featuring powder-coated calipers and oversized
slotted rotors with a Wilwood master cylinder. The car sits on a
set of 20-inch one-off billet wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes tires.
The rear end was painted to match the exterior and was narrowed to
allow the car to have a 10-inch-wide wheel with offset, giving it a
deep-dish look. The mirror-finished golden paint and body are what
make this Lincoln stand out. This project started with a California
car, blocked in three stages. Keeping the factory look, the tan
leather interior features factory air conditioning. A new tan
canvas top was installed. The underside of the trunk and top
mechanical parts are highly detailed to a show finish. A nice
simple audio system was installed with Bluetooth technology. **
