This custom 1960 Buick Invicta 2-door hardtop is powered by a 401ci
Nailhead V8 engine that was rebuilt, painted and detailed with
finned valve covers, a belly pan and a Cadillac air cleaner. All
engine-bay components have been powder-coated and detailed. The V8
is mated to a rebuilt Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a
rebuilt driveshaft. It is equipped with a new radiator, heater
core, alternator and power brake booster, and the suspension has
been completely rebuilt and powder-coated. The car sits on the
original '53 Buick Skylark wire wheels and a full AccuAir
suspension system. It is finished in the original Copper color but
with a custom blend of pearls and metallics; it has three coats of
Sikkens paint and three coats of clear. The stainless on the car
has been hand-polished and all chrome has been replated. All rubber
seals and gaskets have been replaced with either NOS or
best-quality reproduction. The custom Fawn and white interior
features NOS 1956 Chrysler Imperial fabric, a one-off custom
shifter knob and turn signal knob, and a plastic Jesus on the dash.
The car has a CD player in the trunk with a remote and is set up to
run playlists off a phone in the center console. The system
features an amplifier and Infinity speakers throughout. The air
compressors are tucked away nicely behind the rear seat. The trunk
was finished off with custom panels and the same Imperial fabric
used in the interior and features a chrome air tank for the bag
system. ** PREVIEW
