This is an antique original mid 19thcentury rare Staffordshire pottery double inkwell, modelled in a classic design of the time, a bird on her nest with eggs & a snake crawling up the side. The well stands 7.2cm high and is around 9.0cm at widest point. generally good antique condition, bird head looks like it may have been off at some point.
