Salary: 48,000 - 60,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Whilst not to be considered a checklist, we are interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate knowledge or experience in several of the following areas:
5+ years of experience in industry
Degree in scientific or STEM subject or equivalent work experience
Confident with building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Effective multi-task working, identify and manage priorities and work to challenging timescales
Some technical understanding of the subject matter profession of the team although can be gained in the role
Key Responsibilities:
This role is to provide extensive technical knowledge and expertise in the field of materials and chemical science.
The role will also require being able to lead the delivery of assigned programmes, projects and processes, to the required scope, timescales, quality and cost
Lead development of the Explosives Safety Assessment (ESA) technical strategy
Act as a representative in all relevant internal and external interactions, including the US National Laboratories
Support technical development of the junior ESA team members through development plans, technical guidance and mentoring
Deliver critical explosives life and safety assessments to scope and time as required by the business
Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
