Working 37.5 hours a week alongside the multidisciplinary team, you will enjoy being a part of an environment that has a strong emphasis on teamwork as you provide care for young people with acute mental health needs and personality disorders in an established 24–hour care environment. The CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services are for young people aged 13–18.
With experience from the NHS or private sector, you will manage a caseload with a wide range of mental health conditions, this will see you plan and deliver interventions, social care assessments, formulations, care planning and will assist in the evaluation of suitable aftercare placements across the CAMHS service. You will provide advice/guidance for Adult Acute service
As the Safeguarding Lead, you will act as the point of contact with families and careers, this will see you lead and promote engagement within forums and events. You will ensure service users have access to independent advice on financial legal and advocacy matters.
You will monitor, identify and address themes, trends and social concerns through risk assessments, care plans and investigations to support the service user to continue to make viable plans for their future.

Participate and contribute to Regional Safeguarding meetings, morning meetings and any professional or complex meetings, which will see you provide advice and support multidisciplinary team on safeguarding mattersActively engage within the Clinical Governance of the hospital, attending meetings, providing feedback to others and working towards the agreed goals and objectives of the hospitalTake lead on safeguard KPI, Audits, ReportsContribute towards completion of patients CPA documents providing comprehensive assessment reports when required.To liaise with departments across the service to ensure that reports and attendance by a representative are available for Mental Health Review TribunalsTo actively contribute/facilitate reflective practice for staff on Safeguarding matters and supervise junior members of the teamAttend Safeguarding meeting with LADA/ L'A To be successful in this role, you'll need:
