The clinic provides world class diagnostic treatment offering a comprehensive suite of non–invasive testing including Full Lung function tests, Reversibility testing, Bronchial Provocation Studies and Cardio–Pulmonary Exercise Tests. Our client has recently launched a comprehensive service for the diagnosis and treatment of sleep related breathing disorders.
As a Respiratory Physiologist you will be expected to:
Conduct a wide range of pulmonary function tests, including Spirometry, Lung Volumes, Diffusion Capacity, and Bronchial Provocation Tests.
Perform exercise testing to assess lung capacity and response to physical activities.
Carry out and analyse sleep studies to diagnose sleep–related breathing disorders.
Provide expert guidance on oxygen therapy management for patients requiring supplemental oxygen.
Educate patients on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes to improve their respiratory health.
Instruct patients on the proper use of inhalers, nebulizers, and other respiratory devices.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Work in collaboration with the wider staff team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
For the Respiratory Physiologist Role, you will need the following:
BSc or MSc degree in Respiratory Physiology or a related field.
RCCP or AHCS registered, or certifications as required by local regulations.
Completion of ARTP professional examination is highly advantageous.
Proven experience in conducting and translating pulmonary function tests.
Proficiency in using respiratory testing equipment and software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team–oriented healthcare setting.
