We have an amazing opportunity at Tyldesley for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join the Medivet Team!

You will have the opportunity to handle a diverse range of caseloads, taking advantage of our advanced equipment. Our facility includes:
Digital x-ray.
Ultrasound.
In-house blood machines.
Laparoscopic equipment.
Endoscopic equipment.
Additionally, have a Laboratory and offer separate dog and cat wards, allowing for specialized care tailored to each patient's needs.
As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for all aspects of first opinion practice. While prior management or leadership experience is advantageous, it is not essential. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the training of our Graduate Veterinary Surgeons, you will also have access to your own career development to assist with this we have the entire BSAVA manual library.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, training staff and a passion for client interaction and to develop their career.
The role
Salary up to GBP65,000 to GBP74,000
5 weeks' annual leave
4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)

We can also support Certificates of Sponsorship for a Tier 2 (General) Visa if you meet the criteria and are eligible to register as a veterinary surgeon with the RCVS upon arrival in the UK.
The office is nestled in between Manchester and Liverpool and not too far from the Lake District. Additionally it has a car parking space to make your commute easier.
Weekends will either be 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full weekends depending on your preference.
