Your main purpose is to support the Management Accountants in the preparation of monthly and year–end accounts. This will involve reconciliation of accounts, journal postings, reconciliation of the general ledger balances, analysis of financial information as well as assisting with annual budgets and forecasts and any other additional duties for the team.What you'll need to succeedYou will already have been working within finance in a varied accounting position, including assisting with some month–end routines. With a strong Excel, you will be able to cope with large volumes of data and complex accounting procedures. It is likely you will have started your professional qualifications (either AAT or the first stages of CIMA/ACCA) and be able to demonstrate an organised, methodical approach showing great attention to detail.
