Health issues force sale of this Cineflex V14 aerial camera system (SN#009) which was purchased new in 2005. Sale includes FAA approved (with STC paperwork) helicopter mounts for Bell Jet Ranger, Bell Long Ranger, Eurocopter AS-350 (A-Star) and Eurocopter AS-355 (Twin-Star) helicopters. Isolation mount included. This system is in excellent condition and is 100% operational with no issues.


The system consists of the camera gimbal, electronics box, and laptop controller. The camera inside is the Sony HDC-F950 Cinealta HD camera, which features up to 4:4:4 (12 bit) output at 1080P. (24P, 25P, 30P, 59.94i, 29.97i) The laptop controller incorporates the Sony RM-B750 paintbox which gives you full remote control of the camera including zoom, focus, iris, doubler, ND filters, color filters. It also gives you full paint control of the camera including color balance, gamma, detail, saturation, shutter angle, etc... ( The same camera used in two Star Wars movies, Spy Kids, Avatar, District 9, Collateral, and many others)
The lens is the beautiful Canon 11 x 4.7 HD servo Zoom. Focal length is 4.7mm to 104mm with an optical doubler. At full zoom, this system is stable to within 1 pixel !

A flash drive is included which contains various schematics and wiring diagrams, which would make this an ideal candidate for conversion to a 4K camera. Full documentation and manuals for the Sony camera are also included. Cineflex calibration and P.I.D. tuning software also included. There were 3 factory mods suggested and performed on this unit: 1) Tactical grade gyro. 2)Neoprene seal. 3)RS-422 pin reassignment to eliminate crosstalk. This system was used on numerous TV shows, commercials, and movies.
