Lucille is the affectionally named signature guitar of the legendary B.B. King, inspired by the ES-355’s that King used and modified over the years.

This vintage example is in exceptional condition, not far from mint and with no notable blemishes. It will appeal to both collectors and players.

It features a semi-hollow Maple/Poplar/Maple body with no F-holes to reduce feedback, and a comfortable rounded C profile neck with Ebony fingerboard. It has a gold hardware including Grover tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge standard stoptail (King was quoted saying he hated the TP-6 bridge and micro-tuners that you find on some models) and 2 outputs.

In addition to the looks, it has a sweet tone with 490R and 490T pickups, and is incredibly versatile thanks to a 6-way Varitone selector, which offers a spread of sounds over and above the Gibson ES-335 norm. You can hear the "honk" of the Varitone's capabilities on King's 1969 classic "The Thrill is Gone".
