Ollie is a big, goofy 2 year old Saint Bernard/Shepherd mix who is looking for the perfect forever family of his own. Ollie weighs in at 60 pounds, so he is a strong boy who will need structure and training in his forever home. Ollie is an escape artist in the truest sense of the word. Found on the streets, he tried to make another great escape within his first ten minutes at the rescue. Ollie can easily and quickly hope a 6 foot fence, and can climb over an 8 foot brick wall. Ollie will need someone who can be outside with him at all times, or walk him on a leash to ensure his safety. Ollie came to us as a stray, so he may not be house broken, and will need to learn about manners so that he can be a polite boy who understands his own strength. Ollie would not do well with young children due to his large size and high energy. Ollie is very active and playful, so he will need lots of exercise and play time with his family. Ollie needs to be the only dog in the home, but will shower you in plenty of love and affection. Ollie will need lots of sturdy chew toys to occupy his energy in his new home. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $120. His adoption includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet him, please come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. Call for location on the weekend as we have some dogs who attend off site adoption events .
